Hi everyone, it’s Emma here to share another page I created using the gorgeous new collection, Lovely Day!  I think I mentioned last time that the papers of Lovely Day have me smitten so I created this next page by picking a few of my favourites from the double-sided and single-sided 12×12 paper pad.

Here is a look at the page I created:

I absolutely adore that blue floral paper from the 12×12 paper pad.  It’s just so pretty! I used as my background, then put the white cardstock on top so it created a frame for my page.  I hand cut the banners from my other favourite papers, I went with 2 of each in shades of blue, yellow and black/white.  Then I just machine stitched down the centre to keep them in place!DL_Feb17_hey_4

For my embellishments I used three of the layered stickers at the top, middle and bottom of my page and spaced over the height of my banners.  I popped one of the stickers on top of the rosette layered sticker.  This actually wasn’t my original plan but the colours matched and it meant I didn’t need to work out any extra spacing for my title.  Win win!DL_Feb17_hey_S1

I typed up my journaling on the computer (using an old typewriter font), printed it out and tucked it just underneath the photo on the white/black flower paper.  I like how it kind of blends in with the paper and doesn’t distract you too much.

I fixed a little heart chipboard piece near the blue papers just because the colours matched and hearts (or stars!) seem to be a necessity for my pages.  I like to put them everywhere 🙂DL_Feb17_hey_S6

I love the dimension of this page – all thanks to those layered stickers!  They’re perfect and I still love the fact they have foam dots on the backs which helps lift them off your page a little more.

This page came together rather quickly (for me that is, I’m a rather slow scrapper..) which I love.  I even adhered/stitched  it all down in the one sitting!  (I usually put a page together and leave it overnight then stick it down the next day. You know…incase I want to change things 😉  But I was happy with this one straight away, love that!).DL_Feb17_hey_5

Thanks for joining me on the blog today, I hope it’s inspired you to start creating your own masterpiece using the gorgeous papers of Lovely Day!

Take care, Em xo
